The definition/meaning of Manual System is quite simple means Manual System are those system which include manual efforts for data collection/processing etc.
In automated system each process is done by processor of computer but in manual system human being is a processor who can do efforts to perform a task.
This concept is used in SSAD(Structured System Analysis and Design).
Dis-Advantage of Manual System:-
1)Manual system is very slow as compared to automated system.
2)Its lazy.
3)Get tired very quickly.
4)Storing capacity is limited.
5)Speed is slow.
6)More chance of happening of mistakes etc.
