Example of 4 Variable K-Map|Don't Care Condition.

Now I discuss Karnaugh Map of 4 variables(5 is also possible) and also its Don't Care Condition.

Syntax of 4 Variable K-Map:-

Q)Z=Σ(0,1,3,5,10,11,12,13,15)...SOP

y=a'b'c'+a'b'd+bc'd+abc'+acd+ab'c

Q)Z=Σ(0,2,5,8,7,10,13,15)

y=bd+b'd'(XOR)

Q)Z=Σ(4,1,9,6,12,14,11)

y=bd'+ab'd+a'b'd

Q)S=Π(1,5,7,3,7,13,15)..POS

y=(a'+d').(b'+d')

Don't Care Condition(K-Map):-We use Don't care condition in K-Map because to make a group of 2 variable.

y=Σ(0,1,3,5,9,12)+Σd(2,4,6,7)

y=a'+bc'd'+b'c'd

Example of 3 variable K-Map

Now I discuss the K-Map( Karnaugh Map) through 3 Variables.

Syntax of 3 variable K-Map:-

Examples of 3 variable k-map:-

Q)y=a'b'c+ab'c'

y=b'c'

Q) y=a'b'c'+a'bc'+ab'c'+abc'

y=c'

Q)y=abc+abc'+ab'c+ab'c'+a'b'c

y=a+bc'

Q)y=ab'+bc+a'c

y=ac'+a'b'c

What is K-Map|Example of 2 variable K-Map

K-Map stands for Karnaugh Map.It is the graphical representation of given expression(Used for simplification of Boolean Algebra).We can construct K-Map using 2 variable,3 variable..so on.

Syntax of 2 variable K-Map:-

Examples of 2 variable k-map:-

Q)y=a'b+ab'+ab

Q)y=a'b'+a'b

Q)y=ab'+ab

Q)y=ab+a'b+a'b'
